Chase
Here is a pic...
I went out to get the mail earlier without a coat. I came back in and my nose was numb. I think you could have cu off my limbs and I wouldn't have felt it. ;D

Congratulations… It’s a blizzard…
Oh my gosh, there is sooooo much snow out here! And the wind is really stinging. We went up to our hill to go sledding and the Hathaway's came along with Spencer and Isabella. We had a lot of fun and they are still sledding out there in the dark. The creepy thing is that cars kept skidding all around us and one nearly ran over Brent. It blared it's horn really loud though, so he could escape.
I'm kind of freakin' out a little though, because my dad is out there right now on a bus and there have been almost fifty crashes on the freeway today…
Hit the brakes! My car is sliding off the road!
It's snowing out right now and my mom had to park at the top of our hill because it was just too slippery to go down. When we used to live in Colorado, we all had snow tires, the roads were cleared and salted, and people didn't go spinning around in little circles if one of their tires clipped a patch of ice. Here they definitely go spinning. Two winters ago, when it was absolutely too terrible for words, almost the whole of both neighborhoods were parking their cars along Ingram!
We were going to go Thanksgiving shopping this morning, but my mom is going to wait until later because of all the ice. I hope we don't get stranded here by one millimeter of snow! (I'm not even kidding, it's like a layer of peach fuzz out there…)
This morning I was getting some juice out of the fridge, and a naked turkey scared me. Usually, we buy a frozen turkey and leave it in its wrapper to melt until we pull it out and clean it Thanksgiving morning. But this year, my dad is dry brining it and so he apparently took it out late last night and put it in a pan all covered with salt. So yes, naked turkeys in the fridge scare me…
Whoa! Our neighbors just came skidding down the hill! You could actually hear the tires grinding! Oh yes, winter in Washington… I'd almost forgotten what it was like… Almost…
